Encouragement

On Monday for PTB, I felt Yahweh saying that we needed to really cover the staff members of The Caring Place. So, I listed 'em all out, divided 'em in half (so Esther and I could pray for all of them), and set out to pray. As I was praying for my list, the Lord would give me a specific word for each one of them. Then, I'd look them up in my handy dandy concordance and find the verse He wanted to give them. (seriously...it looked like that specific line was highlighted!) I loved doing that for them!
Today, I wrote these verses out and gave them to the people...I had quite a few to deliver (with still one more to deliver tomorrow). It was so much fun...I was prancing/skipping/smiling my way through the building dropping little golden nuggets of love with people. I loved it! At one point, I got this crazy idea of me looking like a fairy...you know, ballet shoes, tights, pink dress, wand, crown... and I was prancing all around the place waving my "magic wand" over people who were bored looking, sad, or just lifeless. Then--they'd come alive, and be full! It was such a pretty pictrue.
When I think of it now, it's totally God showing me how He wants His Word to dwell in me...in such a way that I share it with others, in love, and bring them into new, deeper relationship with Jesus. Exciting, eh? So, I think encouragement is my evangelism tactic...sorry, Steve, I'm gonna have to bail on the call center evangelism. Maybe next time, buddy.
What's great about this is that I feel encouraged by doing it. And, seeing Natasha's or Derek's or Francis's or Polly's (anticipated) smiles...that's so great. On top of that, I feel my Daddy's smile, as He's watching me bless His children. That's what I'm aiming for...winning my Daddy's smile.

Bless ya'll!

Hey,Jamie

Thank you so much for your willingness to obey God's leading in your life. Not only in the big things but in the small things that so many of us ignore. You have truly blessed me today with your note of encouragement. I acually smiled as I read it and felt your genuine love and concern for me. Thank you and God Bless You
